DESCRIPTION:Join organists Cheryl Drewes\, Sheila Bristow\, Emma Kelly\, Dr
 . Michael Plagerman\, and Dr. Wyatt Smith for a performance\, recreating M
 endelssohn’s all-Bach recital performed at the Thomaskirche in Leipzig i
 n 1840. Often credited with reintroducing the music of Bach into regular p
 erformances in the first half of the nineteenth century\, Mendelssohn ofte
 n included various works by Bach in his organ recitals. In this program\, 
 we will hear works such as the great Passacaglia and Prelude &amp\; Fugue 
 in a minor\, along with smaller works like the beautiful setting of Schmü
 cke dich from the Leipzig Chorales. This concert will feature the Fritts O
 rgan at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Tacoma.
