DESCRIPTION:Susan Bloomfield-Spangler presents the final organ concert in t
 his year’s season celebrating the completion of the Schlicker organ at S
 t. John's Episcopal Church\, Olympia on Saturday\, June 3 at 3pm. Bloomfie
 ld-Spangler will be presenting a concert of organ music by queer and femal
 e composers such as Dame Ethel Smyth\, Samuel Barber\, Jean-Baptiste Lully
 \, and Florence B. Price. Bloomfield-Spangler is a multi-faceted musician 
 with talents as organist\, pianist\, vocalist\, choral director\, teacher 
 and currently serves as the Director of Music at St. John’s. Susan holds
  a Bachelor's degree in Organ Performance with an emphasis in Choral Condu
 cting from Pacific Lutheran University and a Master's Degree in Music Hist
 ory from Western Washington University. Additionally\, Susan is trained in
  the application of cross-cultural music and healing through the Open Ear 
 Center. Suggested donation $20\, all proceeds benefit the Music Program at
  St. John's.
