DESCRIPTION:Dr. Anne Lyman is proud to present The Tacoma Early Music Works
 hop: NUOVA MUSICA\, a concert of sacred and secular sixteenth-century poly
 phony sung by the participants of the Third Annual Tacoma Early Music Work
 shop. In its three-year history this growing workshop continues to draw ex
 perienced early music enthusiasts from across the Puget Sound region. This
  workshop is produced by Dr. Anne Lyman\, Artistic Driector of Canonici: C
 onsort of Voices\, a Tacoma-based professional early music group.\nThis is
  a FREE concert\, open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken f
 or Christ Church.\nHailed as “early music specialists [who] sing this mu
 sic with knowledge and grace [Rosemary Ponnekanti\, Tacoma News Tribune]\,
  Canonici was founded by Dr. Anne Lyman in the spring of 2010. Canonici ha
 s received accolades for its performances in Tacoma\, Seattle\, and Bremer
 ton and has been featured on the Early Music Guild First Tuesdays Series\,
  the Jacobsen Series at the University of Puget Sound\, and the Soli Deo G
 loria series at Grace Lutheran Church in Tacoma.
