DESCRIPTION:In his final Leipzig years\, Bach revised and expanded the Acht
 zehn Große Orgelchoräle (the great Eighteen) into monumental works of mu
 sical theology. This program examines how his structural rigor and poetic 
 imagination—beyond counterpoint\, motif\, harmony\, rhythm\, and texture
 —shape enduring sacred art.\n\nDana Robinson will perform selected chora
 les and excerpts on the Paul Fritts organ in Lagerquist Hall at Pacific Lu
 theran University.
