We established a new website in May. Each chapter member has an account, but to use it you have to change the password one time. There will be an increasing need to be able to log into the website to see content not visible to the public.
Right now, there is a poll to gauge interest in group meals before some of our chapter meetings, but you have to be logged in to even see the poll. There will be events this program year that require registration or reservations, and those will be accomplished by way of the website.
Only about half of our members have changed their password. It’s not hard–those who have already done it didn’t have any trouble. Please go ahead and do it while you’re thinking about it, if you haven’t already. Here is a repeat of the instructions:
Go to http://tacomaago.org
At the bottom of the menu column on the left, click Lost Password.
Enter the email address you used on the AGO national site. If you don’t remember if, you can use your AGO national identification number.
You will receive an email with a link that will allow you to change the password.
After you get logged in, use the poll to let us know whether you would be interested in having some meals together before some of our meetings. You will also have access to additional features, such as classified ads, meeting minutes, and more.
