We are recruiting a new Music Director for Traditional Worship at Little Church on the Prairie in Lakewood. description. We anticipate that the role would require 10-14 hours per week.

MUSIC DIRECTOR – Traditional Worship

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Music Director for Traditional Worship is responsible for directing the Choir, planning and organizing anthems, hymns and special music for the traditional worship service and for special programs including advent, lent and other liturgical programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Direct, plan and coordinate, a comprehensive Choir Ministry for the traditional service.
B. Mentor and foster each singer’s spiritual and musical growth
C. Attend weekly staff meetings
D. During summer and when choir is not rehearsing and singing,
coordinate special music for the Traditional Worship Service.
