The Assistant Director of Music and Organist at St. James Cathedral, Seattle, plays music of five centuries on the Faith Seattle pipe organ, the final instrument by the Pacific Northwest non-profit Pipe Organ Foundation.
Program selections will include music by Buxtehude, Liszt, Muffat, Mary Elizabeth Downey, John Propitius, Paul Fey, and J. S. Bach.
Subsequent recitals in the festival will include Seattle pianist Lorenzo Morasso on Sunday, October 12 and Blaine harpsichordist Angela Garvey on Sunday, November 16.
The recital is free and open to the public. Donations to the church’s instrument & concert fund are happily accepted.
