AGO Scholarship Student Application

Please fill out all required fields and submit your application.  Applications cannot be saved, so look over the application before you start to make sure you have everything you need, including an essay and recording.

Please enter your date of birth. Preference is given to high school students, but others may apply. You may type a date in the box in the form mm/dd/yyyy or select a date from the calendar.
Your teacher must be a member in good standing of the Tacoma Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
Please upload a document, one page or less, telling us why you want to study organ. Be sure to include your musical experience and current level. If you have not previously studied organ, tell us about your experience with the instrument you have studied. The PDF format is preferred, but we will accept .doc, .docx or .txt files as well.
Please upload a sample of your playing organ (or other instrument, such as piano, if you are a beginning organ student). The musical sample should be between 5 and 10 minutes, and must be in one of the following file formats: mp3, flac, ogg, m4a. We will be evaluating musicality, not the technical quality of the recording. Almost any smart phone is capable of producing an adequate recording.
