Join us for a slideshow and audio presentation by Bruce Shull exploring the historic organs visited by members of the Fritts organ shop on their recent study tour of meantone instruments. We will hear recorded examples from magnificent organs, view stunning photos, and experience firsthand a meantone demonstration on the harpsichord. The tour provided insights into the work of the Scherer family of organ builders in particular as part of the initial planning for the design and construction of a new meantone organ.
