Ryan Enright, organist, plays this month’s Third Fridays at Noon recital on the renowned John Brombaugh pipe organ. Dr. Enright is Organist of St. John’s Lutheran Church and Accompanist of the Sacramento Choral Society and Orchestra, the Sacramento State University Chorus and Men’s and Women’s choirs, and the Schola Cantorum of Sacred Heart Church. His program includes works by Pierre Alexandre François Boëly, 21st-century North American composers Jerry Mueller and Robert Frederick Jones, J. S. Bach’s Canonic Variations on “Vom Himmel hoch,” a battala by 18th-century Mexican composer José de Torres y Vergara, and an improvisation on a submitted theme.
