In his final Leipzig years, Bach revised and expanded the Achtzehn Große Orgelchoräle (the great Eighteen) into monumental works of musical theology. This program examines how his structural rigor and poetic imagination—beyond counterpoint, motif, harmony, rhythm, and texture—shape enduring sacred art.
