Associate Professor and Chair of Organ Studies at Rice University, Ken Cowan is one of America’s most sought-after organists.

Particularly known for his performances of transcriptions, Mr. Cowan dazzles audiences through his immaculate technique and dramatic interpretations of orchestral music at the organ. In this, his first performance at St. James, he will present a variety of repertoire, including music of Berlioz, Whitlock, Mozart, Laurin, and Liszt.
