Dr. Andrew Koch serves as Directorof Music and organist at St. Alphonsus Church in Seattle. He holds degrees in organ and sacred music from Furman University, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Washington. In addition to his work as a liturgical musician at St. Alphonsus, Koch serves as Director of Music at Emmanuel Anglican Church, teaches piano with Cascade Piano Studio, and maintains a private organ studio. He is also an active performer, giving recitals across the country including in his native Baltimore, Cleveland, St. Louis, and previously at Christ Episcopal. An avid climber, cyclist, and mountaineer, when not teaching or making music, Andrew can typically be found on an adventure in the mountains of Washington.
Dr. Koch’s program includes works by J. S. Bach, Sweelinck, Buxtehude, and Rheinberger.
