Membership in the Tacoma Chapter

Logo of the Tacoma Chapter of the American Guild of Organists

Thank you for considering a membership in the Tacoma Chapter of the American Guild of Organists! Your membership supports local programming as well as organ and choral music in the Pacific Northwest.

There are two main categories of membership: local and national. National membership is through the national organization of the American Guild of Organists. Local membership (formerly known as “friend” membership) is specific to our chapter, with no national membership benefits. Local membership is available at approximately half the cost of a national membership. Both include reduced cost for young organists.

Please read the following paragraphs and the comparison table very carefully.

You cannot be a national member and a local member at the same time. If you switch membership type, you will lose whatever time you have remaining in the type that you are leaving. Your one-year membership will be effective from the date that you switch to the new type.

Email addresses in the membership database must be unique. Two members, even in the same family, cannot share an email address. If you try to add a new member with the same email address as an existing member, the existing member will be deleted.
