Tacoma AGO members Shari Shull and Cooper Sherry will present a program of new hymns.

Shari Shull is Minister of Music at Agnus Dei Lutheran Church where she oversees the music ministry that includes adult choir, handbell choir, instrumentalists and worship planning.  Shari is growing her Musikgarten studio by adding classes for Babies & Toddlers this year in addition to her PreSchool Classes.

Cooper Sherry is the Director of Music at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church by the Narrows in Tacoma, WA. Previously, he served as organist and choir director at First Lutheran Church in Tacoma, as well as Fircrest United Methodist Church. He interned at Trinity Lutheran Church in Parkland, WA under the tutelage of Jim Holloway for 2 years, and received a Bachelor Degree in Choral Music Education at Pacific Lutheran University, where he studied organ with David Dahl.

A native of West Virginia, Shari Shull is an Oberlin graduate, where she studied with Fenner Douglass.  She is Organist and Minister of Music at Agnus Dei Lutheran Church in Gig Harbor, and a past dean  of the Tacoma Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.  She is a frequent recitalist in Washington as well as the East Coast.
