Bruce Neswick is Director of Music at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Portland, Oregon. His skill at improvisation garnered him three first prizes from the 1989 San Anselmo Organ Festival; the 1990 American Guild of Organists’ national convention in Boston; and the 1992 Rochette Concours at the Conservatoire de Musique in Geneva, Switzerland. Neswick is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University and Yale University, and his many organ teachers include David Dahl, QALC’s Consultant for the selection and installation of our Robert Wech Pipe Organ. Mr. Neswick will improvise on a hymn tune . . . the hymn choice will be a surprise to Mr. Neswick at the concert on October 1. Come and hear the beautiful music he creates on a moment’s notice.
