This month’s Third Friday recitalist is Abraham Ross, organist/harpsichordist based in Vancouver BC.
He will present organ music from seventeenth-century northern Germany, including works of Martin Radeck, Delphin Strungk, and Franz Tunder. Inspired by the Brombaugh’s specifications and tonal design, the programme will centre on intabulations: virtuosic keyboard arrangements of vocal music to be performed in the absence of singers.
