Collin Boothby, organist, a former recipient of the Tacoma AGO scholarship,repeats his Texas Christian University senior recital. The program will include works by Bach, Deák, Scheidt, Vierne, and the mighty Sonata on the 94th Psalm by Reubke. Collin will graduate from Texas Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in Church Music in May. This fall he will begin graduate work in organ performance at Rice University where he will study organ with Ken Cowan and improvisation with George Baker. Collin was a Tacoma AGO Scholarship student his junior year of high school (2010-2011) and is grateful to the chapter for their continued support. He is excited to return home and perform again at PLU.
