We are celebrating the 100th Birthday of our building and would like to have an organist to play during our Sunday, May 4th worship service. We would need someone from 10-12:30pm. We would need them to play:
Prelude, Postlude, 1 reflection and 1 hymn during service (we will provide the title).
The organ is a large organ with 43 groups of pipes and 3 keyboards. It was made by the Esley Organ Company in Vermont; it is a large and important organ.
We would invite you to come and get acquainted with this instrument before. Typically the musicians arrive around 9am to practice; everyone involved in the service gathers at 10:15am to go through the order of worship and pray. Service begins at 10:30am. We do not have a choir but will have other musicians performing other pieces.
Please let me know if you have questions.
